History of the soap factory

Ingredients used

The strength of the Nyons soap factory lies in the quality of its ingredients. The base isNyons olive oil, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, ideal for nourishing and protecting the skin.

Organic plant oils such as argan, almond and aloe vera are also used, each with its own specific benefits. Animal and plant milks (donkey’s milk, goat’s milk or organic plant milks) make our soaps particularly gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.

For fragrances, the soap factory relies on the expertise of Grasse’s master perfumers. The result is a wide range of scents, from fruity to floral, woody to spicy.

How does the tour work?

The Nyons soap factory welcomes visitors in a 200 m² space. Visitors can learn about thehistory of soap and observe certain production stages through a bay window overlooking the workshop, depending on the activity in progress.

On-site, a boutique offers a wide variety of products: solid and liquid soaps, body care products, essential oils, candles, home fragrances, as well as local specialties such asolive oil and honey.


Visitors’ favorite
Donkey milk from the Nyons soap factory is particularly appreciated. It contains mineral salts and trace elements essential to the proper functioning of the epidermis, and instantly relieves your face of ailments such as eczema.
